To celebrate the release of Ed Sheeran’s single “Old Phone”, we transformed a traditional pub in his hometown of Ipswich into a fully immersive fan experience. I created the designs for the pub interior and exterior, renaming it “The Old Phone”, with every element redesigned to reflect the campaign, from external signage and interior details to framed photography, memorabilia, and custom branded touches behind the bar. Fans had the opportunity to win access to an intimate live performance and experience the takeover in the week leading up to the event. The attention to detail throughout the venue created an environment that reflected Ed’s connection to his hometown, with the activation gaining significant attention and coverage across UK media including BBC News.
